Introduction of Ross O'Neile to Belvoir Park Golf Club as Executive Head Chef

Exciting things are happening at Belvoir Park Golf Club

Having brought catering under our own control our aim is to provide our members and their guests with a culinary experience matched only by the breathtaking and most impressive panoramic view over Belfast.

As all members will know Belvoir means beautiful view and to celebrate this simple but remarkable aspect of our history your new restaurant will be branded as "The View at Belvoir".

To enhance the experience we have appointed Ross O'Neile as the Club's new Executive Head Chef. Ross is passionate about cooking, working with the best locally sourced ingredients, and focused on culinary trends which will be evident within our new menus.

Ross will be in position on Monday 11th March 2013, with his first menu being available from Monday 18th March 2013, accompanied by superb weekly specials.

"The View at Belvoir" will be devoted to high quality produce and a dedication to creating simple wholesome food, with deep flavours and an honest but defined touch. This will provide the foundation for a range of dishes, from the modern to more traditional dishes, incorporating A La Carte, Bistro Brunch Menus and home baked cakes and pastries.

Ross's background covers 13 years of experience, involving work in bistros, hotels and Michelin starred restaurants. He has a solid track record evolving from Shanks Restaurant, Grace Neills, Patterdale Hotel, Gilpin Lodge Hotel (Lake District), Le Gavroche, (London) & Wildfowler Inn. During his career he was a Semi – Finalist in the Gordon Ramsey Scholarship.

With Ross's expertise and an improved level of service we are certain that the members of Belvoir Park Golf Club will extend a warm welcome to this new format and style of cooking and we would urge all members, visitors and guests to be supportive of the Club as we strive to ensure that everyone receives the Belvoir Experience.
